Within my time, I have held the following titles: personal banker II, assistant branch manager at two locations, branch manager II, branch manager- span (managing two branches), and most recently I’ve obtained the title of branch manager senior and Vice President. I began my career journey as a college student majoring in Finance and unsure of which area of the bank would be a good fit for me. Leaders in my area inquired about my interests and helped me make valuable connections to learn more about them. I was provided opportunities to job shadow and leadership training that helped me step out of my comfort zone and into my current role in Risk Management. I began my journey at Commerce as a Personal Banker. After a year, I was eager to take on a more operational role, which led me to a position as an Administrative Assistant in the Commerce Trust department. It was a great transition, and I found the role to be very fulfilling. After a few years, I was promoted to supervisor of the team. Since then, I have continued to take on new tasks and challenges. I’m incredibly grateful for the mentors who have generously shared their time and wisdom to guide me along the way.
