Hi, I'm Josh Unick. I'm a Senir Digital Marketing Specialist.

I first heard about an open position on the Digital Marketing team from a college friend who couldn’t stop singing the praises of Commerce’s collaborative culture and commitment to its people. At the time I was freelancing and craving a more stable environment where I could grow long term. After meeting the team and experiencing their innovative spirit and genuine support firsthand, I knew Commerce was the place I wanted to call home.

What I love most is our culture and the incredible people who bring it to life. I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with so many talented, supportive colleagues across departments, and their energy and commitment never cease to amaze me. The values I’ve learned at Commerce are something I apply not only in my work life but also in my personal life. One of my biggest areas of growth during my time here has been learning how to be agile in my work. 

What I find most rewarding here is the ongoing investment in my growth and the chance to see that evolution. My leaders at Commerce are always championing my development whether it’s the workshops I've been a part of or supporting me as I earned my UX/UI certification. It’s incredible to look back at where I started, compare it to the scope of my day-to-day responsibilities now, and feel energized by the momentum our team creates together.

I have also had the opportunity to cochair one of our employee resource groups where I have been encouraged to lean into my leadership and project-management strengths. That freedom to try new initiatives knowing I have the full support of Commerce reinforces the genuine care and commitment the organization has in nurturing both my professional skills and personal passions.

Having come from workplaces where culture wasn’t a priority, I arrived at Commerce cautiously optimistic. What pleasantly surprised me was how quickly I saw genuine kindness and inclusion woven into every interaction, from casual team check-ins to big-picture strategy meetings, I knew that my voice mattered. Even colleagues who have since moved on to other opportunities still tell me they miss Commerce’s supportive environment. That consistent positive feedback, from both current and former teammates, underscores just how special Commerce’s culture truly is.

What I would tell someone who is looking to apply at Commerce is this: if you’re looking for a place where you can make a difference, grow your career, and be part of a team that values who you are — this is it. Commerce invests in people, embraces diverse perspectives, and creates space for meaningful work. It’s more than a job — it’s a community.
