Theresa Hamilton

Hi, I'm Theresa Hamilton. I'm a Client Services Supervisor in the Commerce Trust Company. 

I was a customer of Commerce in college and always admired the customer service and branch environment. I was looking to make a transition out of clothing retail and found an opening for a Personal Banker. It was a perfect opportunity for me!

What I like best about working at Commerce is the culture and growth opportunities. I have worked here for seven years and the leaders and peers I am surrounded by never fail to amaze me. If you put the work in to grow and be involved it's a great place to be. 

What I find most rewarding in my current role as a leader is seeing others progress and advance in their careers. While it's a challenging space, it's truly rewarding to watch individuals put in the effort to achieve their goals and engage in meaningful, productive conversations along the way.

The biggest surprise working at Commerce is how rewarding and fulfilling it has been to get involved in employee resource groups and meet people outside of my line of business. Commerce has many options no matter what space you  inspires you most. 

What I would tell others about working here is that won't regret it! You will gain valuable experience and knowledge of the industry and the corporate world, interact with amazing coworkers and leaders, and have many opportunities available to you.
